Huskies Face Boston University Wednesday

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's tennis team is set to face Boston University on the road on Wednesday, March 6.
The Huskies enter the matchup 7-4 overall this season. Last time out, UConn defeated Sacred Heart 5-2 on Thursday, Feb. 29. Leading the way for the Huskies is junior Isabel Petri Bere with the best individual singles record of 7-3 playing at the second and third singles positions. Petri Bere also has a team-best 8-3 record in doubles play with first year teammate Caroline Hinshaw.
Scouting Boston University (BU)
Heading into the matchup, the Terriers are 6-5 overall. Last time out, BU fell to Brown 5-2 on Sunday, March 3. Leading the way for the Terriers is Kaitlin Tan with a team-high singles record of 5-1 at the third singles position. Tan also has a 3-2 record with teammate Emily Zhao at the first and second doubles positions.
UConn faced BU last season dropping 7-0. The Huskies are 2-6 in all-time matchups against the Terriers.
First serve is scheduled for noon ET on Wednesday at Winchester Tennis Club in Boston.
