Huskies Perform at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Connecticut men's and women's track & field teams put it all out there at the Penn Relays in the three-day meet event.
The Huskies totaled nine top-five results and two first place finishes in championship events in Philadelphia.
On the women's side, in the women's distance medley relay Madison Relyea, Gabby Davis, Alyssa Elliott, and Malin Rahm took third place running a time of 11:33.59. Then, A'liyah Thomas won in the long jump championship with a leap of 6.37m.
On the men's side, Connor Hayford launched a first-place mark in the javelin championships with a throw of 63.83m.
