WSOC Voted Second, Mahoney Preseason GK of the Year

NEW YORK - The BIG EAST Conference announced the preseason awards and All-BIG EAST teams on Monday ahead of the 2024 women's soccer regular season.

The Huskies were voted second by the BIG EAST coaches and were the only team, other than league favorite Georgetown, to receive a first place vote.

2023 All-Conference performers Kaitlyn Mahoney, Lucy Cappadona and Chioma Okafor all landed on the Preseason All-BIG EAST squad.

The reigning BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year, Mahoney, earned the Preseason BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year nod.
