STORRS – The UConn men's basketball team and head coach Dan Hurley have announced the signing of two incoming freshman for the 2026-27 season on National Signing Day. Junior County and Colben Landrew will join the Huskies as top-50 prospects and will look to make an immediate impact.

Last season he led Wasatch to a 25-5 record and the quarterfinals of the Chipotle High School Nationals. On the EYBL circuit with the Utah Prospects he averaged 13.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists last spring and summer.
Landrew is a 6'6 wing originally from Alabaster, Ala. who preps at Wheeler High School in Marietta, Ga. He is an ascendant prospect, moving from outside the top-100 into a top-30 consensus prospect ranked as high as No. 17 by Rivals. He enters his final season at Wheeler as a Second Team MaxPreps Junior All-American after averaging 18.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists last season and leading the Wildcats to a Class AAAAAA state title and a top-10 national ranking.
On the adidas 3SB 17U circuit, Landrew helped Game Elite to a 2025 title. He was a First Team All-Circuit pick after averaging 15.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. Landrew was one of 17 prospects nationally invited to the Team USA Junior National mini-camp last month.
