Softball Announces 2026 Schedule

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn softball program has announced their 55-game schedule on Wednesday afternoon.
Information on season tickets and single-game tickets will become available at a later date.
UConn is coming off a record-breaking season in 2025, winning the program's first BIG EAST Tournament Championship since 2001, earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament for the first time under head coach Laura Valentino, entering her seventh season leading the program. The Huskies posted a 35-19 overall record in 2025, securing the program's fourth straight 30+ win season. UConn returns the reigning BIG EAST Freshman of the Year Cat Petteys (Vestal, N.Y.) and all-conference outfielder Kaitlyn Breslin (Hopkinton, Mass.) to the 2026 roster.
UConn will open their 2025 season at the Elon Softball Classic beginning on February 6, squaring off against St. Joe's, North Carolina, James Madison, and the host school Elon. The Huskies will also play in the Buccaneer Classic (Feb. 13-15) hosted by Charleston Southern, the Gulf Coast Classic (Feb. 20-22) hosted by Florida Gulf Coast, and the Liberty Invitational (Feb. 27-Mar. 1) hosted by Liberty.
UConn will open BIG EAST play at St. John's from March 6-8.
UConn will hop back out of conference play and head to SEC foe, Arkansas for a three-game series from March 20-22.
The home opener at Burrill Family Field is set for March 10 against Stonehill at 4:00pm. UConn will welcome four BIG EAST opponents to Storrs starting with DePaul (March 27-29), Villanova (April 2-4), Providence (April 17-19), and concluding with Creighton (April 24-26).
The Huskies conference road series consists of St. John's, Seton Hall, Butler, and Georgetown.
UConn's midweek schedule consists of Stonehill (H), Hofstra (H), New Haven (H), Boston College (A), Bryant (H), Dartmouth (H), and UMASS (A).
