Candle Named the 33rd Head Coach In Program History

EAST HARTFORD, CT - UConn Director of Athletics David Benedict officially introduced Jason Candle at the new head football coach of the Huskies on Monday afternoon at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field. Candle comes to Storrs after 10 seasons at the helm at Toledo where he never had a losing season and became the program's all-time winningest coach. Candle is the 33rd coach in UConn program history dating back to 1896.
