FH Announces 2025 Schedule

STORRS, Conn. - Â The UConn Field Hockey team under head coach Paul Caddy have announced their 17-game schedule for the upcoming 2025 season. The Huskies will open with three exhibition games beginning on the road at Syracuse on August 16 before welcoming Hofstra and Northeastern at home August 20 and 23 prior to the start of the season.
The Huskies are looking to build off momentum from the previous season and remain top dogs following their 21 BIG EAST regular season and tournament championship along with a return to the NCAA Tournament.
The Huskies have nine away games scheduled and eight home games on campus at Nancy Stevens Field at George J Sherman Sports Complex. They will kick-off the 2025 slate on the road for a weekend tournament featuring New Hampshire and St. Joseph's on August 29. The home opener will take place September 7 when the Huskies welcome Brown University to Storrs.
In addition to the St. Joseph's game to open the 2025 season, UConn will face five other teams that were in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. The Huskies will face off against Harvard (Sept. 14), at Princeton (Sept. 21), UMass (Oct. 5), Duke (Oct. 19) and at Fairfield (Oct. 26).
The Huskies other road games this season will be Villanova (Sept. 19), Liberty (Sept. 26), Temple (Oct. 5), Fairfield (Oct. 26) and will close the regular season October 31 at Quinnipiac.
The Huskies other home matches will feature Rutgers (Sept.12), Providence (Oct. 3), Yale (Oct. 12), Georgetown (Oct. 17), and Old Dominion (Oct. 24).
