Huskies Named IWLCA Academic Honor Squad

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - Â The UConn women's lacrosse team was recognized as a 2025 IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, with six Huskies named to the IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll.
Overall, the IWLCA honored 1,163 student-athletes from 124 different institutions on the 2025 Division I Honor Roll. To be eligible, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student, and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. To earn team honors, the IWLCA recognizes a team who has posted a 3.20 GPA or higher for the academic year. For 2024-2025, the IWLCA recognized 383 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as IWLCA Academic Honor Squads for the 2024-25 academic year.
This season, six Huskies earned the honor of making the honor roll. This group was led by graduate students Eliza Bowman (Greenwich, Conn.), Tori Cini (Syosset, N.Y.) and Jenna Giardina (South Salem, N.Y.). Joining the graduate students were senior defender Riley Daly (Ipswich, Mass.), junior midfielder Alana Goldhaber (Stamford, Conn.) and junior midfielder Karsyn Burnash (Adams Center, N.Y.).
