Huskies to Kick off Fall Slate at Quinnipiac Invitational

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's tennis team is back in action tomorrow September 5 at the Quinnipiac to kick off their fall slate.
Under new head coach Laura Glitz, the Huskies will hit the courts for the weekend as they travel to in state foe Quinnipiac for the Quinnipiac Invitational. After losing Olivia Wright, Isabel Petri Bere and Maria Constantinou to graduation and head coach Glenn Marshall to retirement, the Huskies will look different this fall but return a core group from last season that will look to continue success from a team that won the BIG EAST Regular season.
The Huskies return a young but experienced group as Caroline Hinshaw, Cameron Didion, Isabella Asenov and Victoria Matos all look to continue to build upon the recent Husky success. In addition to the returning group, Coach Glitz added three newcomers in Madison McCelod, Ela Platenikova and Ilana Rosenthal.
UConn's fall slate will feature three invitationals in September beginning with the Quinnipiac invitational, followed by the UConn Invite and Dartmouth invite. The Huskies will wrap up their fall slate with Regional Championships at Harvard October 9-14, followed by the Husky Invite in Storrs October 17-19.
