STORRS, Conn.- The J. Robert Donnelly Husky Heritage Sports Museum, located in the UConn Alumni Center on the UConn Storrs campus, will be open to the public for self-guided tours prior to a pair of men's basketball game in February.
The museum will be open on Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., prior to the UConn vs. Creighton men's basketball game. It will be open again on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., prior to the UConn vs. Seton Hall men's basketball game.
A ticket for the games is not required to visit the museum. The Alumni Center is located at 2384 Alumni Drive, and fans will be able to access the museum through the front door near the north end of the Sherman Family Sports Complex.
There is a ticketed event at the Alumni House before the Seton Hall game, so museum visitors will have access to the museum only that day.
The museum features displays and memorabilia from all 21 UConn athletic teams, including all 12 women's basketball and six men's basketball NCAA Championship trophies.
