Huskies Earn Multiple Podium Finishes at Stetson Showdown

DELAND, Fla.ย โ The UConn women's rowing team competed in two sessions of racing at the Stetson Showdownย on Saturday, recording multiple podium finishes across the morning and afternoon races on the 2000-meter course.
AM RESULTS
The Huskies opened the day with a strong showing in the Varsity Eight, finishing second with a time of 7:12.0 behind Jacksonville while topping Embry-Riddle and Nova Southeastern. UConn's Second Varsity Eight also secured a second-place finish, crossing the line in 7:29.9 ahead of Wesleyan.
UConn earned its first victory of the day in the Varsity Four, where the Huskies clocked 8:03.2 to defeat Jacksonville.
The Third Varsity Eight added another win for UConn, taking first place with a time of 7:20.3, finishing ahead of Jacksonville and Wesleyan.
The Huskies' Second Varsity Four placed third with a time of 8:36.1 in the final race of the morning session.
PM RESULTS
In the afternoon races, UConn's Varsity Eights Won bot Races with times of 7:31.8 in the first and 7:57.0 in the second.
The Huskies concluded the sweepย in the Varsity Four, finishing firstย with a time of 8:57.2 versus Stetson.
Up Next: The Huskies face Bryant and Trinity at home on Saturday March 28th.
