Huskies Set for Non-Conference Battles

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's tennis team is back in action for a non-conference weekend series. The Huskies will kick off the weekend with a matchup against Bryant beginning Friday March 6 at 1pm followed by a match Saturday, March 7, vs. Cornell. Both matches are set to take place at Magic Lincer Tennis Club in Manchester, CT.
The Huskies are coming off a 1-1 weekend which featured a win over BIG EAST foe Butler before dropping a match vs. DePaul to close out the weekend. The Huskies have relied on depth this season as all athletes have contributed to the Huskies success. UConn will look to set the tone in both matches with their no.1 doubles team of Ela Platenikova and Victoria Matos.
UConn currently sits at 6-3 overall and 1-2 in conference action.
