Thirty-Five Athletes Expected to Participate in 2026 USA Basketball Men's U18 National Team Training Camp
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (May 8, 2026) - USA Basketball today announced 35 athletes expected to participate in the 2026 USA Basketball Men's U18 National Team training camp at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Training camp begins Thursday, May 21, with the 12-member team expected to be announced before the team departs for the 2026 FIBA U18 Men's AmeriCup, scheduled for June 1-7 in Leon, Mexico.
Training camp participants will represent the graduating classes of 2026, 2027 and 2028. Athletes attending camp are selected by the USA Basketball Men's Junior National Team Committee.
The class of 2026 includes Davion Adkins, Tarris Bouie, Bruce Branch III, Jason Crowe Jr., Sam Funches, Caleb Gaskins, Bryson Howard, Josh Irving, Jasiah Jervis, Taylen Kinney, Colben Landrew, Dhani Miller, Dylan Mingo,Bo Ogden, Baba Oladotun, Ethan Taylor, Kevin Thomas and Anthony Thompson.Â
From the class of 2027 are Scottie Adkinson, Reese Alston, Dawson Battie, Chase Branham, Jalen Davis, Jaxson Davis, Demarcus Henry, Ahmad Hudson, Jaydn Jenkins, Malachi Jordan, Moussa Kamissoko, J'Lon Lyons, Kevin Savage III, Davion Thompson, Josh Tyson and Darius Wabbington.Â
Adan Diggs will represent the class of 2028.
Thirty-one athletes have previous USA Basketball experience, including 3x3 U18 World Cup gold medalist Ogden. Branch III, Crowe Jr., Gaskins and Taylor helped the USA capture a sixth straight victory over the World Team at the Nike Hoop Summit in April.

Training camp will be led by 2026 USA Men's U18 National Team head coach Anthony Grant (University of Dayton) and assistant coaches Matt Langel (Colgate University) and Nate Oats (University of Alabama). For more information, click here.Â
Assisting as court coaches during the opening phase of training camp will be Dennis Gates (University of Missouri), Greg Kampe (Oakland Univ - MI), 2026 NCAA champion Dusty May (University of Michigan) and Ritchie McKay (Liberty University). McKay will return to USA Basketball for the first time since winning gold as an assistant coach at the 1997 World University Games while Gates, Kampe and May will make their USA Basketball coaching debuts.Â
FIBA recently announced that USA Basketball will open Group A play with Argentina, Brazil and Mexico at the 2026 FIBA U18 Men's AmeriCup. The U.S. men will take on Argentina in their opening game on June 1. The Americans hold a 14-1 record against the Argentineans. On June 2, the USA will face Mexico, who they have defeated in all five previous meetings. Group B play closes with Brazil on June 4 with the U.S. looking to improve to 12-0 all-time. Quarterfinals are set for June 5, semifinals June 6 and medal games on June 7.
USA Basketball has won 11 gold medals in 13 iterations of the event, including seven straight dating back to 2010. In addition to the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela will compete with the top four teams earning a berth to the 2027 FIBA U19 Men's World Cup.
