Ryder Treadway Named to Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Watch List

STORRS, CT - UConn sophomore wideout Ryder Treadway (Frisco, TX) has been named to the 2026 Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Watch List. The fourteenth annual Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Watch List was announced on Tuesday.
The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award recognizes the top offensive player in Division I football who also exhibits the enduring characteristics that define Earl Campbell: integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, drive, community and tenacity; specifically, tenacity to persist and determination to overcome adversity and injury in pursuit of reaching goals. In addition, the nominee must meet one or more of the following criteria: Played football at and graduated from a Texas High School and/or currently playing at Texas D1 four-year college.
Treadway is in his first season at UConn after transferring in from Toledo last spring. As a true freshman in 2025, Treadway played in 11 games and had 13 catches for 176 yards and three touchdowns. He had a season-best four catches for 55 yards and a score against Miami (OH) and he scored touchdowns against Kent State and Ball State. Coming out of high school, Treadway was a three-star recruit, according to 247 Sports. He was a Texas 5A-1 first-team all-district wide receiver in both his junior and senior seasons.
