WSOC Hits The Road to Face Brown

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The UConn women's soccer team (1-0-2) returns to action on Thursday, August 27 against the Brown Bears (1-1) at Stevenson-Pincince Field at 7 p.m. The game can be seen on ESPN+.
The Huskies are coming off a thrilling comeback victory against Boston University, 2-1, on Sunday night at Morrone Stadium.
UConn trailed by a goal with under four minutes to play in regulation. Alayna Taylor and Jessica Carr tallied a pair of goals including the game-winner right before the final buzzer sounded.
Taylor leads the Huskies this season with two goals this season.
Freshman Lily Onorato has started all three games in goal including a shutout against Rutgers last Thursday.
UConn is 17-6-1 all-time against the Bears but dropped the last meeting 1-0 last season in Storrs. The Huskies have dropped three straight contests with their last win coming in 2015.
Brown is 1-1 on the season with a 4-0 victory against New Haven in its season opener and dropped a 1-0 contest against Holy Cross.
