Men's Golf Announces 2026-27 Slate

STORRS, CT – UConn head men's golf coach Dave Pezzino announced the schedule of tournament for the 2026-27 season. The Huskies have 12 events on this year's slate before their post season gets underway at the start of May.
The fall portion of the schedule has six tournaments scheduled starting on September 12-13 with the Doc Gimmler Invitational hosted by St. John's. UConn returns to the event after a year off last season and will be back at the Bethpage State Park Red Course.
UConn will head back to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis this fall for The Goat on September 19-20 at the Naval Academy Golf Club. The Huskies took fourth in a field of 16 teams at the event last fall.
The 17th annual UConn Invitational at GreatHorse is set for September 27-29 at GreatHorse in Hampden, MA. The Huskies are the defending champs at their home event, having won the tournament for the sixth time last fall.
Three tournaments close out the fall in the month of October, starting with the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational hosted by West Virigina at the Mystic Rock Golf Course in Farmington, PA on October 5-6. UConn returns to the Moraine Intercollegiate hosted by Miami (OH) in Dayton, OH on October 12-13 and then closes out the fall season with a return trip to Maui, HI for the annual Ka'anapali Collegiate Invitational at the Royal Ka'anapali Golf Course.
The spring semester will get underway with the BIG EAST Match-Play event at Bear Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach, Fla. The Huskies have won the event in three of the four years it has been played.
Tournament play resumes with the Lake Jovita Invitational hosted by Ball State at the Lake Jovita Resort in Dade City, FL on February 28-March 2. UConn heads to North Myrtle Beach, SC on March 8-9 for the Surf Club Invitational hosted by App State at The Surf Club.
The Huskies head out west to Napa, CA to play in the Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational on March 22-23 at the Silverado Resort.
UConn earned an automatic spot in the 2027 Augusta Haskins Award Invitational thanks to their win last season at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge. The tournament takes place April 3-4 at the Forest Hills Golf Club in August, GA and also includes an invitation to attend the Monday practice round at The Master's tournament.
The Huskies will use the Rutgers Invitational as their final tune-up for the post season. The tournament is schedule for April 17-18 at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in Bedminster, NJ.
The postseason gets underway on May 1-3 with the BIG EAST Championship presented by JEEP. This year's championship event will be held at Callawassie Island Golf Club in Okatie, SC. The NCAA Regional Championships are set for May 16-18 with the 2027 NCAA Championship scheduled to take place at the Omni La Costa Champions Course in Carlsbad, CA on May 28-June 2.
