AT UCONN: Is in her third year as a member of the team.
2019-20: Competed as four seat of the Open Eight โDโ at the Head of the Riverfront, two seat of the Club Eight โBโ at the Head of the Schuylkill, and four seat of the Third Varsity Eight that won the 1969 Cup.
2018-2019: Competed as a member of the Third Varsity Eight, Third Varsity Four, and Novice Four; finished the season in bow seat of the Third Varsity Four at the American Athletic Conference Championship. In the fall, competed as bow seat of the Novice Eight โBโ at the Head of the Schuylkill.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended East Catholic High School in Manchester, CT โฆ earned three varsity letters as a member of the swimming team โฆ was all-academic athlete and placed high in state finals and state opens in 2016 and 2017. Was a four-year member of the Meiโs Typhoons Swim Club and placed in the top 30 in New England Age Group Championships in 2017 and 2018 โฆ Earned academic awards in AP English, AP US History, and World Civilizations โฆ High honor student โฆ Placed in top 5% of graduating class โฆ Summa Scholar in 2018.
PERSONAL: Gabrielle Aleen Caron โฆ Molecular Cell Biology major on a pre-med track and Psychology minor โฆ. Born on October 30, 2000 โฆ Daughter of Shawn and Marlene Caron โฆ Has one brother, Samuel.
