2020-21 (Freshman Season): Played in all 23 games games as a freshman...Posted nine points on the season, scoring a goal with eight assists...Led the Huskies and all of Hockey East in face-off win percentage at .602 percent, winning 162 face-offs the second most on the club...Four of his eight assists came on the power play...Had his first career multi-point game with two assists in a road win at New Hampshire (Jan. 16)...Scored his first career goal in a road win at Northeastern (Feb. 5)...Had a seven-game point streak (Jan. 16-Feb. 9), the longest on the team during the season.
Before UConn: Attended Shattuck-St. Mary’s prep school in Faribault, Minnesota… Eligible for the 2020 NHL Entry Draft – Ranked 93rd on the North American Skater list in the final NHL Central Scouting rankings…Saw action in six games with Muskegon of the USHL in 2019-20 and had two goals and an assist…Played for head coach Ben Umhoefer at Shattuck-St. Mary’s and in 2019-20, helped lead the team to a 35-8-3 record in a season cut short by the Covid-19 pandemic…Helped lead the team to the 2020 McPherson Cup tournament championship…Was the team’s leading scorer, posting 78 points in 46 games…He Scored 26 goals and passed out a team-best 52 assists…In 2018-19, played in 56 games for Shattuck-St. Mary’s, posting 90 points on 34 goals and 56 assists…His team won the 2018 CCM NIT Championship…Graduated in the spring of 2020 where he earned the Marthena DryBread Spanish Prize academic award.
