Before UConn: Earned three varsity letters at Deer Park under head coach Rob Franco… Named Team MVP on two occasions… Selected as an All-County team member twice… Served as team captain during his junior and senior seasons… Led his team in goals as a centerback during his junior campaign... Winner of the 2012 U.S. Youth National Soccer Goal of the Year.
Personal: Son of Christopher Burgess and Monique Sorel-Dominguez… Has one brother, Marley, and one sister, Krystal… Also competed in track during high school, receiving an All-County nod in the 400m and 200m dash...Communications major.
