Student Tickets FAQ
General Student Ticket FAQs
HOW DOES STUDENT TICKETING WORK AT UCONN ATHLETIC EVENTS?
Beginning in the fall of 2019, students will no longer need to purchase a ticket in order to attend any UConn regular season home game. For ticketed events, students will need to swipe their Student ID for admission at any ticketed event aside from Men's and Women's Basketball and will gain entry on a first-come, first-served basis. Men's and Women's Basketball will require students to utilize our ticket claim process through the student ticketing portal. Ticket claims will begin 14 days out from a game and will close when all seats are claimed. Ticketed sports include: Football, Men's and Women's Soccer, Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's Ice Hockey, Baseball, Softball, and Lacrosse. For all other non-ticketed events students will continue to receive admittance free of charge.
WHAT ABOUT FOR THE BIGGEST GAMES OF THE YEAR?
Due to the high demand for UConn Men's and Women's Basketball tickets, we recommend students access the student ticketing portal 14 days in advance of the game they want to attend. All Gampel games will include a standby line for students to get in if they haven't claimed a ticket by gameday. There is no gaurantee that anyone in the standby line will get in however and we will only begin admitting the standby line following tip-off when no-show claimed tickets are revoked.
