2014 Season: Made 13 appearances, starting 10 games both in the midweek and the weekend...compiled a 4-3 record with a 3.30 ERA in 62.2 innings, striking out 39 against 28 walks...finished ninth in UConn history with 229.0 career innings...tossed both of the Huskies[apos] complete games in 2014, include their lone shutout...earned a pair of nods on The American weekly honor roll (April 28, May 19)...fired a three-hit, complete game shutout vs. Rhode Island (May 13)...also hurled a complete game vs. Central Connecticut, fanning six (April 21)...picked up his first win with 5.2 shutout innings vs. Illinois (Feb. 23)...had a season-high seven strikeouts at Lipscomb (March 2)...went 6.2 innings and allowed one run to win at USF (March 23).
2013 Season: Started in 10 games, earning two wins... Pitched 52.2 innings and held a 3.59 earned run average... Registered 33 strikeouts to go along with 22 walks... Pitched seven innings of shutout ball against Texas Tech (Feb. 24), surrendering just five hits and recording a season-high five strikeouts... Was one of only three Husky pitchers to make double-digit starts... Allowed just two runs and five hits in a five inning performance against Villanova (April 14).
2012 SEASON: Appeared in 13 games, started 12...named the BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week (Feb. 20)...posted an ERA of 5.57 with a record of 3-5...struck out 41 in 53.1 innings pitched...pitched 7.1 scoreless innings in a win vs. Indiana (Feb. 17)...gave up two earned runs in seven innings, recording the win vs. Xavier (Feb. 24)...had a season high seven strikeouts in a six inning, winning effort vs. Oklahoma (March 9)...allowed just one run and struck out six over five innings against USF (March 26) at the BIG EAST Championship.
2011 SEASON: Pitched 60.1 innings in 14 appearances...earned a record of 6-1...recorded an ERA of 3.28 and allowed 22 earned runs...gave up 50 hits and three home runs...struck out a total of 53 batters and walked four...struck out a season-high 10 vs. South Florida (May 9) plus eight vs. Louisville (May 14) and seven at Villanova (April 17). 2011 SUMMER: Started all four games he pitched for the Bourne Braves of the Cape Cod Baseball League...posted a 2-1 record with a 3.18 ERA...fanned 13 batters in 17 innings pitched.
High School: Attended Joseph A. Foran High School in Milford, Conn.... was a two-time All-SCC Conference selection...was a two-time Connecticut High School Coaches[apos] Association All-State honoree... named a Connecticut Post All-Star as well as New Haven Register All-Area selection... was a two-time Rawlings American Legion Future All-Star Team selection... an American Legion Dream Dozen Selection... Louisville Slugger Preseason All-American selection during his senior year... was a CAPT scholar.
Personal: A history major... born March 21, 1991... his father Thomas played baseball at Panhandle State University in Goodwell, Okla from 1971-75.
