2021 Season: Selected in the 15th Round of the 2021 MLB Draft by the Miami Marlins. ABCA Second Team Northeast All-Region. Preseason D1Baseball.com Second Team All-American. NCBWA Stopper of the Year Watch List. All-BIG EAST First Team. His 67 appearances ranks 10th in program history. His 12 saves makes him the 10th Husky to record double-digit saves in his UConn career. Appeared in 25 games out of the UConn pen, going 4-1 with a 2.41 ERA while leading the BIG EAST Conference with nine saves and appearances. Pitched 41.0 innings, recorded 52 strikeouts and held opponents to a .207 average against. Earned victory out of the pen at No. 14 Virginia (2/20) with 2.2 innings, zero earned runs and four strikeouts.Pitched a career-high 4.2 innings, allowed zero hits, zero walks and struck out a career-high 10 batters in a win at Coastal Carolina (3/7). Earned first save of the season at Saint Joseph's (3/19). Closed out the inaugural game at Elliot Ballpark vs. CCSU (3/23) with a scoreless inning. Pitched a scoreless frame at Xavier (4/25) to record fourth save of the season. Picked up the win out of the pen with 3.0 innings of work, giving up zero earned runs and striking out four. Picked up a win (5/9) and a save (5/7) at St. John's with 3.0 combined innings of work. Pitched 3.0 shutout innings vs. Seton Hall (5/22) to close out a BIG EAST regular season title. Pitched 1.1 perfect innings vs. Creighton (5/29) to send the Huskies to BIG EAST Championship game. The next day, threw 3.2 innings to secure a BIG EAST Tournament Championship (5/30). Retired both batters he faced to lock down a win vs. Michigan (6/4) in the South Bend Regional.
2020 Season: Preseason NCBWA Stopper of the Year Watch List. Appeared in six games in season shortened due to Covid-19. The Huskies closer went 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA and earned two saves. Pitched 7.0 innings and struck out eight. Did not allow a run in five of his six appearances. Pitched a scoreless inning to earn save vs. No. 1 Michigan (2/21). Picked up victory with season-high two scoreless innings at Presbyterian (3/8). Notched save at Hartford (3/10) with a scoreless frame.Â
2019 Summer: Pitched in 11 games for the Falmouth Commodores in the Cape Cod League. Accumulated 16.2 innings and 14 strikeouts while going 2-2 with a 5.40 ERA.
2019 Season: Set UConn single-season appearances record with 36 in 2019. Went 5-1 with a 2.66 ERA and converted one save. Racked up 47.1 innings while striking out 40 and holding opponents to a .188 AVG against. Picked up first career win with 1.1 scoreless innings at Texas State (3/8). Tossed two scoreless frames with three strikeouts vs. Michigan State (3/16). Did not allow a run in 15 of 16 appearances from 3/16 to 4/24. Got out of a 2nd/3rd, no-out jam in seventh inning of a 1-1 game at UCF (3/30) to help Huskies earn 3-1 victory. Notched win vs. Cincinnati (4/6) with two shutout innings out of the pen. Earned first career save by getting final out at UMass (4/16). Got out of a based-loaded, no-out jam in the sixth inning and pitched 3.0 scoreless innings to defeat URI (4/24), 2-1. Grabbed victory vs. USF (5/10) with 1.2 hitless innings. Struck out career-high five batters vs. Nebraska (5/31) in NCAA Oklahoma City Regional. Helped Huskies beat No. 9 Oklahoma State (6/2) with 3.0 shutout innings that featured four strikeouts.
2018 Summer: Appeared in nine games and made three starts for the Brockton Rox in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League… Accumulated 30 innings with 21 strikeouts, two saves and one win… Threw 5.0 scoreless innings vs. Nashua (May 31) with season-high four strikeouts… Notched first save of the season with 4.0 shutout innings vs. Nashua (July 11)… Retired all three batters to earn save vs. Martha’s Vineyard (July 20)… Fired 5.0 strong innings against Martha’s Vineyard in the FCBL Playoffs.

High School: Played at Bishop Hendricken High School under head coach Ed Halloway and one prep school season at Suffield Academy under head coach Brian Brissette…Three-sport athlete in high school (baseball, football and track)…In 2017, was the Pitcher of the Year and Team MVP after an undefeated season on the hill for Suffield…Was an All-Conference performer and team captain for the football and track team...Helped lead the football team to an undefeated state championship season in 2015…National Honor Society in English, French and math.
