2019 Season: Missed significant time with injury, ended season appearing in 20 games. Went 1-1 with 5.54 ERA, logging 13.0 innings, 16 strikeouts and held opponents to a .196 average against. Struck out four batters in 1.1 scoreless innings at Houston (3/23). Threw scoreless inning at UCF (3/31) with pair of strikeouts. Tossed three-straight scoreless outings from April 10 – April 18.
2018 Summer: Appeared in eight games for the Healdsburg Prune Packers in the California Collegiate League… Logged 28.0 innings and 34 strikeouts while posting a 2.25 ERA… Struck out six and allowed one earned in 5.0 innings vs. Academy Barons (June 30)… Racked up season-high eight strikeouts in 4.2 innings vs. Arroyo Seco (July 7)… Fired three scoreless frames vs. Solano (July 14)… Closed summer with four shutout innings vs. OC Riptide (July 28).
2018 Season: Made 15 starts on the hill in his first season at UConn…Logged 69.2 innings, 4.00 ERA, 63 strikeouts and limited opponents to a .242 AVG/against…Picked up first win at Southeastern Louisiana (Feb. 24) in a five-inning, four-hit and five strikeout performance….Twirled seven shutout innings vs. Hartford (March 31) at Dunkin’ Donuts Park and posted career-high seven strikeouts…Grabbed third win of the season with a near complete game vs. No. 22 UCF (April 8) in 6.2 innings, allowed two earned and grabbed five punch outs…Pitched Huskies to series win vs. No 9 ECU (May 18) with a 5.0 inning outing that featured just three hits, one run and seven strikeouts.
Prior to UConn: Pitched one season at College of Marin in Kentfield, Calif. in the Bay Valley Conference ,part of the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association (CCCBCA)…Bay Valley Conference Pitcher of the Year…Third Team All-American…Won Bay Valley Conference Championship…Led the conference with a 2.56 ERA and 88 strikeouts…Went 7-1 in 14 starts and logged 81.0 innings…Notched seven quality starts (6.0 innings or more, three runs or less)…Attended the University of San Francisco his freshman year...Made his first six appearances as the Saturday starter before making seven of his final eight appearances out of the bullpen...Went 0-3 with a 5.13 ERA overall...Registered 14 strikeouts in 33.1 innings on the year...Had his longest outing of the season in his USF debut at UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 20), throwing 5.2 innings where he allowed four runs on seven hits while walking three and striking out two, earning a no-decision...Took his first loss at Cal Poly (Mar. 4), going 2.2 innings and allowing four runs on five hits with three walks and a strikeout...Registered his first outing without allowing a run at Santa Clara (Mar. 19), taking a no-decision after throwing 4.2 innings where he scattered five hits, walked one and struck out a season-high three...Had his longest relief appearance with three innings against New Mexico where he allowed two runs (0 earned) on two hits with a walk while matching his season high with three strikeouts.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Jason Searle at Novato High School...Named First Team All-Marin County Athletic League as a pitcher, and second team as a utility player…His senior year held a 1.20 ERA and was a team captain...Also lettered in football, helping lead his team to an MCAL title.
