2026 Season: Started five games behind the plate before fouling a ball off his right eye that ended his season. No longer able to catch and hit. Will try to pitch for the Huskies in 2027.Â
2025 Season: Played in 39 games and made 31 starts. Hit .280 with 11 doubles, one triple, six home runs and 34 runs batted in. Slugged .528 and scored 22 runs. Collected his first hit at FAU (2/22). Went 2-4 with a double and RBI at USC (2/28). Hit first career home run as part of a three-hit game at Xavier (3/29). Went 3-5 with a home run and five RBI at Boston College (4/15). Homered in back-to-back games vs. Seton Hall (4/18-4/19). Notched three hits at St. John's (4/27).Â
2024 Summer Ball: Played in 19 games for the Norwich Sea Unicorns in the Futures League. Slashed .210/.338/.339…Recorded 14 hits and drove in 12…Went 3 for 4 with four RBIs vs Nashua (7/7)… Hit a home run vs. the Road Warriors (7/18)…Hit a grand slam vs Vermont (8/2).
High School: Played at Old Saybrook High School for head coach Ryan Fraser. 2024 Gatorade Connecticut High School Player of the Year. Two-time All-State performer. As a junior, Lane batted .512 with seven doubles, 27 RBI, 20 runs and a school-record nine home runs while striking out 32 in 15 innings pitched working as a reliever.
