2024 Season (UConn): Appeared in 23 games and made three starts on the mound for the Huskies in his lone season in Storrs as a graduate transfer. Logged 30.2 innings and went 3-3 with 27 punch outs on the bump. Made his UConn debut at California (2/23) with 1.1 scoreless innings, allowed zero hits and struck out a pair. Pitched 2.1 innings at UCSB (3/10). Made first start of the season at UCLA (3/12) and threw 2.0 scoreless frames. Registered a season-high 5.0 innings in his start at URI (3/19) and struck out a season-high six batters. Threw 1.1 scoreless innings at Rutgers (3/22). Earned his first win as a Husky with 3.1 shutout innings vs. CCSU (4/1). Made start vs. Maine (4/10) and pitched 3.0 innings and struck out four to earn victory out of the pen. Notched his third win of the year with 2.0 shutout frames vs. Kansas State (4/16). Struck out the side in an inning of work vs. Hofstra (4/24). Tossed a scoreless frame vs. Creighton (5/11). Made his NCAA Tournament debut with a scoreless inning at No. 9 Oklahoma (6/2) in the NCAA Norman Regional. Â
2023 (Seton Hall):Â Appeared in 11 games out of the bullpen for the Pirates ... Registered 17 strikeouts in 17.1 innings ... Struck out a season-high five batters in 3.1 innings of relief at Monmouth (3/15) ... Struck out the side and earned a save in the win over Houston Christian (2/25) ... Picked up a two-inning save in the win over Holy Cross (3/19) ... Earned the win after tossing two shutout innings of relief against Wagner (3/29).
2022 (Seton Hall): Made 15 appearances last season for the Pirates as a left-handed pitcher, nine of which were as a starter… Finished the season with a team high four wins, also recording 40.1 innings pitched, 30 strikeouts, and just 15 walks… Secured his first win of the season against St. Joseph’s (3/26) after going a career-high seven strong innings allowing only one run on six hits with four strikeouts and no free passes… Pitched to a very quality start against St. Peter’s (4/19) in which he threw three shutout innings on only one hit with three strikeouts… Threw two strong innings of relief against Creighton (4/23) in which he gave up no runs on two hits and one punch out… Got the nod against Rider (4/26) where he went four shutout innings allowing only two hits on four strikeouts and no walks, recording the win… Started against #24 Rutgers (5/3) in which he threw two scoreless innings and recorded the win… Went four straight games (St. Peter’s, Creighton, Rider, Rutgers) in which he didn’t allow a run, tallying an extremely impressive 0.00 ERA with nine strikeouts over 11.0 IP.
2021Â (Seton Hall):Â Had a solid season as he worked his way into the weekend rotation ... Ranked fourth on the team with 41.2 innings pitched ... Tied for the team lead with 16 appearances ... Picked off two base runners ... Went 2-2 in four starts with a 2.52 ERA in BIG EAST play ... Started in the 5-3 win over Creighton on May 15 where he struck out four in 4.1 innings of work ... Had a season-high five strikeouts in six innings at Xavier on May 7 ... Didn't allow an earned run in five innings of work and picked up the win against Georgetown on May 1 ... Earned the winning decision after tossing 3.1 innings of relief against Hofstra on Feb. 21.
2020:Â Made two appearances in relief ... Registered his first career strikeout at Fresno State on March 3 ... Tossed a scoreless inning of relief with one strikeout against Fairleigh Dickinson on March 11.
2019:Â Â Did not appear in games... BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
High School / Personal:  Parents are Deborah and Doug. Has one sister, Natalie. Attended Mahwah High School in Mahwah, New Jersey... Four-year letter-winner as a left-handed pitcher... Helped lead Mahwah to 63 victories over four years.... Three-time All-League selection, including First Team honors as a senior... Named Third Team All-County as a senior... Has maintained an earned run average lower than 2.20 in each of his last three seasons... Team captain as a senior... Went 5-2 with a 2.10 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 48 innings as a senior... His father, Doug Cinnella, played baseball at Seton Hall and is a member of the Seton Hall Athletics Hall of Fame.
