2021 Season: Appeared in the second most games for the Huskies in 2021 with 22 appearances and one start during his senior season. Logged 36.1 innings, earned one save, struck out 44 and held opponents to a .225 average against. His 44 punch outs ranked second out of the arms out of the UConn bullpen. Pitched 2.0 scoreless innings with four strikeouts at No. 14 Virginia (2/19) on Opening Day. Threw 2.1 scoreless innings and earned the win out of the pen against URI (3/26). Tossed 1.2 shutout innings vs. Boston College (3/30). Had a pair of hitless 1.0 inning stints at St. John's on (5/8) and (5/9). Earned the win with 2.2. shutout innings vs. Seton Hall (5/20). On his Senior Day, pitched 1.0 of scoreless ball to help clinch a BIG EAST regular season title vs. Seton Hall (5/22).Â
2020 Season: Was a weapon out of the UConn bullpen with a team-high seven appearances in the shortened season due to Covid-19. Did not allow a hit until his eight inning of work (sixth appearance). Logged 11.1 innings, struck out 10 while holding batters to a .103 AVG against. Threw a season-high 3.0 scoreless frames against Cal Poly (2/14) on Opening Day. Tossed 2.1 scoreless innings against No. 8 Michigan (2/16) at MLB4 Tournament. Notched victory out of the pen against No. 1 Michigan (2/21). Threw a perfect frame vs. No. 1 Michigan (2/23). Recorded back-to-back scoreless outings at Presbyterian (3/8) and at Hartford (3/10). Â
2019 Summer: Appeared in eight games for the Healdsburg Prune Packers in the California Collegiate League. Went 1-0 with a 3.52 ERA. In 23 innings of work he recorded 33 punch outs.
2019 Season: Appeared in 14 games and made six starts for the Huskies. Went 2-1 with a 5.74 ERA. Threw 31.1 innings, allowed just nine walks and struck out 25. Tossed 2.0 scoreless innings vs. No. 4 Louisville (2/16) in first career appearance. Earned first career win vs. Michigan State (3/16) in career-high 5.0 innings pitched. Recorded career-high four strikeouts in 5.0 inning victory vs. Hartford (3/26). Did not allow a run in 5.1 innings during NCAA Oklahoma City Regional. Started Regional Final vs. No. 9 Oklahoma State and threw 2.1 scoreless frames with three strikeouts.
Before UConn: Played two seasons at El Camino College in Torrance Calif…. Notched four wins and three saves in 16 appearances his freshman year… Logged 46.0 innings and struck out 41… Made 16 starts his sophomore season, going 10-2 with one complete game… The right-hander tossed 104.0 innings and recorded a 2.77 ERA and 98 strikeouts.
