2021 Season: Selected in the 12th Round of the 2021 MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins. First Team NCBWA All-American. ABCA Second Team All-American. Second Team Baseball America All-American. ABCA First Team Northeast All-Region. NCBWA District 2 Player of the Year. Collegiate Baseball Second Team All-American.BIG EAST Player of the Year. First Team All-BIG EAST. BIG EAST Championship Most Outstanding Player. Led the BIG EAST Conference and was 15th in the country with a .398 batting average, the highest for a Husky since Mike Scott hit .413 in 2001. Was 35th in the nation with 1.50 hits per game. Led the BIG EAST in runs scored (57), hits (78), on-base percentage (.483), total bases (132). Added 14 doubles, two triples, 12 home runs, 53 RBIs, 28 walks and stole seven bases. Had team-high 24 multi-hit games and added 16 multi-RBI games. Tied for the team-lead with a 13-game streak where he scored at least a run from 5/14-6/4. Went 12-19 with five doubles, five runs scored and six RBIs at No. 7/9 Texas Tech (2/12-15). Weekend featured a 4-4 performance on March 13 and a 5-5 game with five runs scored, a go-ahead double in the 10th inning and a home run saving catch in the sixth on March 15. Produced an 8-12 series at Saint Joseph's (3/19-21) with a home run, four RBIs and five runs scored. Went 3-4 with two home runs including the first Husky to homer at Elliot Ballpark vs. URI (3/26). 2-5 with a home run and three RBIs vs. Boston College (3/30). Collected three hits including two triples and three RBIs in a comeback win vs. Bryant (4/6). Went 2-4 with a 12th inning homer at Xavier (5/26) to lift Huskies to extra-inning win. Went 3-5 with a go-ahead, two-run double in the 8th inning at St. John's (5/7). Delivered a two-run single in the 10th to help Huskies win series at St. John's (5/9). Hit a go-ahead three-run homer at Villanova (5/16) to aid Huskies to road series win in rubber game. Homered in three of the four games against Seton Hall and collected six hits to lift Huskies to BIG EAST regular season championship and finish regular season with a .400 batting average. Smacked a go-ahead home run vs. Creighton (5/29) to send Huskies to BIG EAST Championship game. Went 6-9 with three RBIs and three runs scored vs. Xavier in BIG EAST Championship games (5/30). Was 1-3 with a double and two runs scored vs. Michigan (6/4) in South Bend Regional.  Â
2020 Season: Played in all 13 games in season shortened by Covid-19. Hit .412 and led the team with 21 hits, 12 runs scored, two homers and .627 slugging percentage. Added three doubles, a triple and 12 RBIs. Tied for the team lead with six multi-hit games. Recorded three hits and a pair of RBIs in win vs. No. 1 Michigan (2/21). Notched a pair of hits including a double and pair of RBIs so clinch series win vs. No. 1 Michigan (2/23). First career four-hit performance came at New Orleans (3/1). Hit two home runs and drove in career-high six runs at Presbyterian (3/7). Closed the season on a six-game hit streak.Â
2019 Summer: Played in 25 games for the Bourne Braves in the Cape Cod Baseball League. Hit .171 with four doubles, three RBIs and seven runs scored.
2019 Season: Played in 54 games and made 52 starts during freshman season. Hit .247 with 46 hits including 12 doubles, two triples and five home runs. Added 24 RBIs, 27 runs scored and drew 21 walks. Slugged .414 and registered a .326 on-base percentage. Registered first career hit vs. Indiana (3/2). Collected two hits and two RBIs vs. Michigan State (3/15). Added two more hits and scored three runs vs. Michigan State (3/16). Hit first career home run at UCF (3/29). Smacked a double and notched two hits at UCF (3/31). Had a career-high eight game hit streak that included five multi-hit efforts. Hit three-run homer at Sam Houston State (4/26). Hit a home run vs. Houston(5/21) in American Athletic Conference Championship. Collected a pair of doubles vs. Nebraska (5/31) in NCAA Oklahoma City Regional. Homered vs. Nebraska (6/2) in NCAA Oklahoma City Regional.
High School: Played four seasons for Brad Bestic at Vincentian Academy in Pittsburgh, Pa…. Helped lead Vincentian Academy to two PIAA state baseball titles (2016, 2018)… 2018 USA Today, Perfect Game and Prep Baseball Report Pennsylvania HS Player of the Year… 2018 MaxPreps HS All-American… Hit .661 with a .750 OBP, 8 HR’s and 40 RBI’s in 23 games in 2018 for Vincentian Academy… In 2018 HS post-season, hit .769 to lead his team to second state title in 3 years… Had an .851 OBP in seven postseason games, scoring 16 runs and only making 4 outs in 27 post-season plate appearances… 2018 Pittsburgh Post-Gazette 1A Player of the Year… Named All-Section all 4 years at Vincentian Academy from 2015-2018… Career HS BA of .529… Lettered in basketball… Helped lead Vincentian Academy to 2018 WPIAL District 7 basketball championship, hitting the game-winning shot in the title game to beat Union HS… Helped lead Vincentian Academy to WPIAL (Pennsylvania District 7) baseball and basketball titles in 2018, becoming only the third player in the 100 year history of the WPIAL to be a starter on both baseball and basketball championship winning squads in the same year.
