2019 Season: 11^th Round pick by the San Diego Padres in the 2019 MLB Draft. Finished as UConn all-time leader in strikeouts with 278 career strikeouts. Posted 19 career wins ranking tied for seventh while finishing sixth all-time with 260.1 innings. Team captain. First Team All-Conference. Second Team All-New England. Made 14 starts his junior season, logging 77.0 innings and struck out 83. Picked up first win of the season at Houston (3/22) with seven strong innings, allowing one unearned run and struck out eight. Struck out 10 in seven shutout innings vs. Wichita State (5/3). Notched season-high 11 punch outs vs. USF in six innings of one run ball.

2017 Summer: Pitched in the Cape Cod Baseball League with the Wareham Gatemen…Appeared in eight games and started six…Recorded a 4.96 ERA in 23.2 innings with 24 strikeouts…Pitched 3.0 shutouts innings at Orleans (6/20)…Best performance of the summer came at Brewster (7/19), a 5.0 inning outing that featured six strikeouts and just one hit allowed that earned the lefty the win.

2017 Season: Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American…American Athletic Conference Rookie Pitcher of the Year…First Team All-Conference…ECAC Rookie Pitcher of the Year…All-New England Rookie Pitcher of the Year and Second Team All-Northeast…Started 14 games and appeared once out of the bullpen for the Huskies during freshman campaign…The left-hander went 7-4 with a 3.38 ERA….He logged 82.2 innings and struck out 75…Won his first career start on opening weekend against UMass Lowell (2/18) with a six-inning, three-hit, one-run performance that included seven punch outs…Lone appearance out of the pen came at Texas (2/26) lasted 3.1 innings with one earned run allowed and six strikeouts…Notched a win against St. Joseph's (3/5) on the strength of 5.2 shutout innings…Gave up just one hit and tied career-high with eight strikeouts in five-shutout innings at Seton Hall (3/26)…Earned victory at No. 16 ECU (4/2) behind seven-inning performance that featured five hits allowed and just one unearned run…Pitched career-high eight shutout innings vs. Memphis (4/9) to notch fifth win of the season…Seventh win of the season came vs. No. 23 USF with a strong seven-inning performance including eight strikeouts.

2016 Summer: Pitched for the Worcester Bravehearts in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League...Made five starts in the regular season, went 1-2 with a 1.66 ERA in 27 innings pitched, struck out 30...Worked a minimum of 5.0 innings in each of his starts...Fired a season-best 6.0 innings on Aug. 6 against the Martha's Vineyard Sharks, picking up six strikeouts in the victory.
