High School: Played for head coach Travis Lapointe at Hand High School. Was a captain his senior year (no season due to Covid-19). Two-time All-Conference performer in 2018 and 2019. Was All-State performer in 2019 with a .375 AVG and 25 RBIs. Hit .405 during sophomore campaign. Was a two-time state champion on the football field. 37-2 career record as a starter at quarterback. Conference Player of the Year his junior year. Two-time All-State and All-Conference performer in his junior and senior seasons. Set school record with 74 passing touchdowns.
