2024 Season: Signed free agent contract with Cincinnati Reds. ABCA First Team All-Northeast. NCAA Norman Regional All-Tournament Team. Tied for the team lead with 17 starts and made 19 appearances overall during his final season in Storrs. Went 6-3 with a 3.92 ERA. Tied with teammate Garrett Coe for most innings pitched in BIG EAST with 103.1 innings and led the BIG EAST Conference with 87 strikeouts. Opened the season with 5.2 innings of one-run ball vs. Indiana State (2/17). Followed up with a 6.0 inning performance with one earned run at California (2/25). Came out of the bullpen and fired 2.0 scoreless innings against No. 19 UC Irvine (3/13). Earned his first win of the year with a complete game performance at Rutgers (3/24). Struck out seven in seven shutout innings in rubber game of series vs. Xavier (4/7). Twirled 8.0 shutout innings with a season-high eight strikeouts in a victory vs. Villanova (4/26). Pitched 8.0 innings and struck out five at Seton Hall (5/3). Grabbed a victory vs. Creighton (5/11) with eight strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work. Registered his fifth win of the year with 7.0 innings and seven strikeouts at Butler (5/17). Struck out eight in 5.1 innings vs. Xavier in the BIG EAST Tournament (5/22). Fired 8.0 innings of one-run ball to notch victory in the NCAA Norman Regional winner's bracket game vs. No. 9 Oklahoma (6/1). Closed out the Norman Regional by securing the final five outs against No. 9 Oklahoma (6/3). Pitched 5.2 innings at No. 8 Florida State in the NCAA Super Regionals. His 15.1 innings pitched in the NCAA Tournament ranks second most in program history. His 19.2 career innings in the NCAA's also ranks second most all-time. Â
2023 Season: First Team All-BIG EAST. Appeared in 15 games and made 14 starts on the mound. Went 4-3 with a 4.83 ERA. Led the team with 76.1 innings pitched and tied a team-high with 74 strikeouts. Made his UConn debut with start vs. Ohio State (2/20) going 3.2 innings and striking out five. Came out of the pen and tossed 3.2 shutout frames, allowed one hit and struck out four at California (2/25). Earned first victory with 6.2 innings of one-run ball at FAU (3/4). Pitched 5.0 innings and gave up one run at San Diego State (3/18) to notch his second win of the year. Registered double digit strikeouts vs. CCSU (4/10). in six innings of work. Season-high 7.2 scoreless frames with just four hits, zero walks and tied season-high with 10 punch outs at Villanova (4/29). Followed up with three-straight starts of six innings and three runs or fewer against Seton Hal (5/6), Butler (5/13) and at Creighton (5/19). Made NCAA Tournament debut vs. Texas Tech (6/2) with 4.1 innings that featured 5 strikeouts in the NCAA Gainesville Regional.Â

2022 (Senior): Quigley capped a dream season after spending the better half of his career as a key factor at the plate from the shortstop position, while contributing as a pitcher. ABCA Third Team All American. Fourth Team D3Baseball All-American. Was selected as Region 1 Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-Region by both ABCA and D3Baseball.com. He was also named the NEWMAC Pitcher of the Year and a First Team All-Conference selection. The senior put together an outstanding season, leading the league in strikeouts with 73 to fall just three short of the school record, while ranking second among NEWMAC pitchers with a 2.22 earned run average and 40th in the nation. In addition, the Business major ranked 36th in all of Division III with a 6.08:1 strikeout to walk ratio and was 45th with a 1.02 walks and hits per innings pitched rate.. He also topped the conference with a 7-3 record. The right-hander recorded six outings with eight or more strikeouts, including four of his last five starts to compile 37 strikeouts in 34 frames. Quigley was extremely tough on hitters, holding opposing batters to a .215 (54-251) batting mark to rank 13th in the NEWMAC and hurled 65 innings to sit third in the league. One of the Lyons' Captains, Quigley made 11 appearances on the mound, including 10 starts and allowed two or fewer runs in eight of those outings. The right-hander was exceptionally good the final two months of the season, yielding just eight earned runs over 40 ? innings to post a 1.77 earned run average to go with 48 strikeouts and just seven bases on balls. He was tapped the NEWMAC Pitcher of the Week in the final week of the regular season Prior to the NCAA Regional, the Silver Lake High School graduate did not issue a walk in each of his last two starts and issued just two free passes in his final 21 ? innings, spanning 85 batters. Quigley also saw action as a hitter this season, going 15-61 (.246), while driving in 11 runs, scoring six times, smacking a double and stealing a base.
For his career, the Massachusetts native made 18 appearances and 13 starts and did not toe the rubber as a starter until his junior campaign after seeing the majority of his time spent at shortstop. He tossed 86 ? innings, while posting a formidable 2.08 ERA and fanning 92 batters against just 18 walks. He produced an 8-4 record and allowed just 73 hits. Quigley batted .360 (9-25) in the COVID-19 canceled 2020 season and hit .308 (28-91) last year during the team's College World Series run. All told, Quigley played in 109 games and owned a career batting average of .279 (82-294) to go with 49 runs batted in, 44 runs scored, 11 doubles, two triples and a .363 on-base percentage.Â
2021 (JUNIOR): In shortened season due to COVID-19 he appeared in 28 games ... 2021 D3baseball.com All-Region Second Team as utility player ... Recorded 14 RBIs with a .308 (28-91) batting average ... Added in nine runs scored with 10 walks ... 2020 (SOPHOMORE):Â Competed in eight games with 25 at bats...recorded 9 hits including one double and one triple...also recorded six runs batted in and a batting average of .360...registered a .838 fielding percentage with 11 put outs and 20 assists before the season was canceled.
2019 (FIRST-YEAR):  Competed in 39 games, recording 117 at bats… recorded 30 hits to go along with five doubles and 18 runs batted in… finished the season with a .256 batting average and .326 OBP… Also finished with a .913 fielding percentage on 149 total chances.

PERSONAL:Â Parents are Susan and Brian. Has four siblings, Ryan, Michael, Chris and Jack. His brother Michael attends UConn and is also a pitcher for the Huskies.Â
