2024 Season: Played in 26 games and made 16 starts. Hit .222 with four doubles and a pair of triples. Added four RBI and 11 walks. Recorded a hit on Opening Day vs. Louisville (2/16). Doubled off the bench at Rutgers (3/24). Went 2-2 with a double and triple vs. Maine (4/10). Scored three runs vs. Hofstra (4/24). Went 2-4 with a double at Butler (5/17). Registered an RBI single in NCAA Norman Regional at No 9 Oklahoma (6/3).Â
2023 Season: Played in 24 games and made 18 starts in center field for the Huskies. Missed 31 games due to injury after being hit by a pitch at FAU (3/3). Hit safely in first six games before being knocked out with injury. Hit first home run of the year vs. Cal Poly (2/24) to start a ninth inning rally and eventual extra inning victory vs. the Mustangs. Went 2-4 with a pair of doubles and runs batted in against Seton Hall (5/15). Recorded two hits and walked twice in a series opening victory vs. Butler (5/11).Â
2022 Season: Played in all 66 games and made 64 starts in the UConn outfield. Hit .283 with 63 hits, 55 runs scored, 19 doubles, four triples, five home runs and 42 runs batted in. Led the Huskies and the BIG EAST with 46 walks. Led team with 20 hit by pitches. .440 on-base percentage ranked second on the team. Had 15 multi-hit games and nine multi-RBI games. Reached base safely in final 17 games of the season. Along with his bat, was a huge contributor in the outfield, making numerous big time plays throughout the season. Went 3-5 with a pair of doubles and drove in a run on Opening Night at USF (2/18). Hit his first home run of the season and scored a pair of runs to help Huskies sweep UNF (2/27). Notched a three-hit game with a pair of doubles at FIU (3/5). The El Cajon, Calif. native homered in front of friends and family at UC San Diego (3/19). Hit home runs in back-to-back games and drove in seven runs vs. Bryant (3/23) and URI (3/25). Had a career-day at the plate vs. CCSU (4/5) registering five hits with two triples and a home run and drove in five runs. Scored three runs and drove in three in a win vs. UMass (4/19). Went 2-3 with a pair of doubles including the game-tying double in the sixth to aid Huskies to series sweep vs. Creighton (5/8). Went 2-4 with three runs scored and two RBI to win series vs. Xavier (5/15). Went 2-4 with an RBI single to lift Huskies to BIG EAST Championship crown vs. Xavier (5/29). Hit safely in six of seven NCAA Tournament games with multi-hit game against No. 15 Maryland (6/5) in College Park Regional and a three-hit game with RBI double and RBI triple at No. 2 Stanford in Game 1 victory in Super Regionals.Â
2021 Season: Played in four games before a collision in the outfield at Texas Tech caused a season-ending rib injury. First career hit came at Texas Tech (3/12) in the ninth inning as a pinch hitter. His single would have tied the game but the potential tying run was thrown out at the plate. Followed it up with a 3-3 performance at Texas Tech (3/14) with two doubles and two RBIs before getting injured.
Before UConn: Played at Grossmont College in El Cajon, Calif. Hit .319 with six doubles, one triple 12 RBIs in 11 games due to shortened season due to Covid-19. During his freshman campaign, played in 36 games and hit .371 with 43 hits including nine doubles, two triples and four home runs. Added 38 runs scored, 35 RBIs and 10 stolen bases. Played for head coach Rigo Ledezma at Santana High School. Second team All-League in back-to-back seasons. Won League championship three years in a row. Also lettered in basketball. Second Team All-League in back-to-back seasons.Â
