Chris Salvi is in his first year as an defensive graduate assistant at UConn. In 2015, he was an assistant coach at the University of Chicago and coached at St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago from 2013-14.
Salvi is a 2013 graduate of Notre Dame with a degree in political science and was a member of the football team, which he joined as a walk-on and earned a scholarship for his senior year. He played in 35 career games for the Fighting Irish, including the 2013 BCS National Championship Game.
Salvi played two seasons of professional football (spring 2014 and ’16) in Turin for Torino Giaguari.
