High School: Finished his high school career playing for head coach Will Hester at Ravenwood high school in Tennessee. Led Ravenwood to a 10-3 overall record that featured a trip to the 6A Region 7 title game… Was awarded first team All-Region as a defensive back, and on the offensive side of the ball finished with 176 yards on five catches and two touchdowns.
