High School: A starter in high school since his freshman yearearned North Carolina Independent Schools Association All-State honors as a junior and senior...named First Team Charlotte Independent School Athletic Association honors as a senior and all-conference a total of three times...team won three-straight NCISAA Division I state championships from freshman to junior seasons...also won four-straight conference championships...had 388 career tackles , which is second in school history...also played lacrosse and was four-year starter...three-time all-conference pick.
