While at UConn: Starting his fourth season with the UConn program after joining the team in 2020-21 preseason as a freshman walk-on… Has become an integral part of daily practice, helping to prepare the team for tough game competition... Dressed for all 95 games his first three seasons and made appearances in 15... Named to 2020-21 BIG EAST All-Academic Team.
As a Junior in 2022-23: Appeared in 15 contests, including all 6 NCAA Tournament games… Scored 2 points and grabbed 3 rebounds… Had the honor of dribbling out the final seconds of 2023 NCAA Championship game vs. San Diego State.
As a Sophomore in 2021-22: Appeared in six games, including one BIG EAST game vs. Georgetown, with the longest stint (3:25) against LIU…. Also played against Central Connecticut, Coppin State, Binghamton and Grambling State.
As a Freshman in 2020-21: Appeared in four games, averaging 0.8 ppg... Made first appearance in season opener against Central Connecticut... Longest stint (2:42) came in opening round of BIG EAST Tournament against DePaul... Took one shot all season and made it count -- swishing a three-pointer against DePaul, leaving him with a field goal percentage of 1.000 for the year.
Before College: Solid outside shooter and tough defender... Extremely familiar with UConn Coach Hurley’s coaching style and player standards... Came to UConn after playing two years at East Catholic High School (Manchester, Conn.), one of the most successful programs in the state, under Coach Luke Reilly... Played limited minutes as a junior in 2018-19, as East Catholic went 27-1 and captured the Division I State Championship... Was a significant contributor as a senior in 2019-20, helping East Catholic post a 23-1 mark and win the CCC (conference) tournament, before the season was suspended by the global pandemic before the state tournament could begin... Played his first two high school seasons at Bishop Hendricken (Warwick , R.I.), before his family moved to Connecticut.
