- Assistant Director of Men’s Basketball Administration
Chris Mastrangelo officially joined the UConn support staff ahead of the 2023-24 season as a program assistant and moved into the Assistant Director of Basketball Administration role he currently holds prior to the 2024-25 campaign. Combined with four years as a student manager with the program, including a year as the head manager, and two years as a graduate assistant he has been affiliated with the Huskies since the 2018-19 campaign, Dan Hurley's first in Storrs.
In his current role Mastrangelo assists with the day-to-day operations and administration of the programming, including but not limited to housing, budget, travel, ticketing and the hiring and development of the UConn student managers.
Mastrangelo holds a bachelor's (2021) and masters (2023) degree, both in sports management, from UConn.
