High school golf & Clemson: During his high school golf career, Burroughs was a four-time Area Golfer of the Year in Pensacola and a two-time Florida Class A All-State selection. Burroughs won the 2020 Class A Region Championship and was named the 2020 Panhandle Golfer of the Year by USA Today. He also won the 2020 Visit Tallahassee Junior Championship and earned four career Southeastern Junior Golf Tour (SJGT) victories. Burroughs went on to play at Clemson University, where he played multiple seasons for the Tigers and recorded a 76.06 career scoring average over 15 rounds.
