Junior Golf: During his junior golf career, Shieh was selected to represent Chinese Taipei in international competition and competed in the 2024 and 2025 U.S. Junior Amateur Championships. Shieh also competed in the 2024 AJGA Junior Players Championship, finishing T-69. He qualified for the 2024 and 2025 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championships, making the cut in both events, including a 47th-place finish at the 2025 championship. In 2025, Shieh also finished second in the Future Star Series (FSS) men's annual points standings in Taiwan, tying the champion in points.
