Before UConn: Spent two years at the Cannon School in Concord, North Carolina before finishing out her 10^th, 11^th, and 12^th grade seasons at Trinity Prep...At Trinity Prep, Hartung earned All-State honors by the Florida Athletics Coaches Association in sophomore in junior seasons...Received All-Area honors...In 8^th grade season at the Cannon School under head coach Kierstan Maves, she received three player of the game awards, while helping her varsity team finish as the runner-up in the State Championship...In her 9^th grade season at Cannon, she helped lead her team to a State Championship, earning five player of the game awards...Honor roll student in her junior year.
