2009: Started in 14 games, playing in each game of the season...concluded the year with 15 groundballs and 10 caused turnovers...had a groundball and caused turnover in two-straight games against Vermont (2/21) and at Hofstra (2/25)...picked up a groundball and caused one turnover at Quinnipiac (3/5)...had an assist in BIG EAST season-opening game against Syracuse (3/14)...finished Harvard game (3/18) with a groundball and caused turnover...caused a pair of turnovers in win over Cincinnati (3/27) and had one groundball...picked up a pair of groundballs at Loyola (Md.) (4/3)...recorded a season-high three groundballs at Georgetown (4/5)...had a groundball in each of the final three contests and added a caused turnover against Rutgers (4/11)...named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team.
2008: Played in every contest, starting in 13...collected a season-high four ground balls against Quinnipiac (3/4)...picked up three at Boston College (4/9) and against Georgetown (4/20)...caused a pair of turnovers in three games, including two against BIG EAST opponents...finished the year with six caused turnovers.
2007: Did not compete after tearing ACL prior to season opener.
2006: Saw action in all 16 games, moving into the starting lineup against Harvard (3/15) and remaining there for the final 13 contests...had 22 ground balls, 12 caused turnovers and 11 draw controls on the year...took a single shot, putting it on goal against Quinnipiac (3/18).
2005: Played in seven games, causing one turnover against Quinnipiac (3/16).
Before UConn: A four-year varsity lacrosse player at Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, N.J....named to the all-league team...was a team captain for four years and earned recognition as team MVP three times...also lettered in soccer, track and swimming...a three-time all-state performer in soccer...made the school[apos]s honor roll and received the league[apos]s sportsmanship award.
Personal: Meghan Maria Nanfeldt...majored in human development and family studies as well as psychology...enrolled in the social science of sports graduate program...born on Oct. 30, 1985.
