AT UCONN: Is in her third year as a member of the team.
2018-19: Competed as a member of the Second Varsity Four; was three seat of the Second Varsity Four that placed second at the Cherry Hill Invitational; finished the season in bow seat of the Second Varsity Four at the American Athletic Conference Championship. In the fall, competed as three seat of the Open Four โCโ at the Head of the Riverfront, two seat of the Varsity Eight โCโ at the Hadley Chase, and four seat of the Club Eight at the Head of the Schuylkill.
2017-18: Competed as a member of the Third Varsity Eight; was three seat of the Third Varsity Eight that won the Knecht Cup, and bow seat of the Third Varsity Eight that placed second at the Cherry Hill Invitational and won the American Athletic Conference Championship. In the fall, competed as six seat of the Novice Eight โBโ at the Head of the Schuylkill.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Orville H. Platt High School in Meriden, CT โฆ earned five varsity letters as a member of the cross country and track and field teams โฆ all conference in cross country โฆ also participated in crossfit โฆ Top Ten Scholar โฆ earned the Superintendent Award and the Yale Book Award.
PERSONAL: Melony Edwards โฆ Nursing major โฆ Born on May 13, 1998 โฆ Daughter of Erskine and Lisa Edwardsโฆ Has one brother and one sister.
