Before UConn: Silva is a 5-5 midfielder who was a four-year letterwinner and two-time captain as she was named the MVC Division II Player of the Year award and earned Eastern Massachusetts First Team accolades in 2009 and 2011... Silva also competed in track and field for four years, was the captain her senior campaign and currently holds the school record in the 4x400 relay and 50m dash... She is a honor student and member of the National Honor Society and National Business Honor Society.
