- Assistant Defensive Line Coach - Defensive Tackles
Brooks Jenkins comes to Storrs, and will serve as an assistant defensive lines coach.
In 2025, Jenkins was director of player development and assistant defensive analyst under Head Coach Jason Candle at Toledo. Prior to this role, Jenkins was a graduate assistant for the Rockets for two seasons, working primarily with the defense.
Prior to his time in Toledo, Jenkins was a defensive lines coach for Mount Union from 2017-20 before spending the 2021 season as a graduate assistant at Eastern Michigan. At Mount Union, the Purple Raiders posted a 44-2 record with four Ohio Athletic Conference titles and 2017 NCAA Division III National Championship.
In his playing career, Jenkins was a three-year starter on the offensive line, a two-time All-OAC selection and starter on the 2015 National Championship team. In 2016, Jenkins started every game, earning All-American honors and winning the Ken Wable Award as the top lineman in the conference.
