Christyn Davidson Arisco is in her sixth season as an assistant coach at the University of Connecticut, where she plays a key role in the development of the attacking unit and central midfield movement.
A four-year starter and captain during her collegiate career at UConn, Davidson competed in three NCAA Final Fours and two National Championship games, helping lead the Huskies to the 2013 NCAA title. She earned All-American, All-Region, and All-Big East honors and was a finalist for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award. Davidson represented the USA National Team from 2014–2015 before continuing her playing career in the Premier League in England.
Since joining the coaching staff, Davidson has helped guide UConn to continued postseason success. In the spring of 2021, the Huskies went 12–2 and captured both the BIG EAST regular-season and tournament championships. In the fall of 2021, UConn advanced to its 20th-straight BIG EAST Championship game with an RPI of 15. The 2022 team extended the streak to 21 consecutive appearances after finishing 11–7. In 2024, the Huskies finished 17–4, won the BIG EAST regular-season and tournament titles, and hosted the opening rounds of the NCAA Tournament as the No. 3–ranked team. In the 2025 season, UConn finished 12–9, earned another NCAA Tournament berth, defeated No. 7 Wake Forest, and advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight.
Davidson holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Duquesne University and resides in Glastonbury, Connecticut, with her husband, Nicholas.
