Christian Klinec joins the Huskies in 2026 and will serve as associate director of football strength and conditioning.

Christian Klinec is in his ninth season as Toledo’s assistant football strength and conditioning coach. Prior to that, he served for two years as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant at Toledo. He also served internships at Kansas in 2013 and at Mississippi State in 2014.

A native of North Olmsted, Ohio, Klinec received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Mount Union in 2014. He played four seasons of football with the Purple Raiders. Klinec also earned his master’s degree in recreation and leisure studies from UT in 2016.
