Kim Gedney serves as the program assistant for men's and women’s hockey, volleyball, field hockey, lacrosse, softball, rowing, women’s swimming, men and women’s track, and golf. She is responsible for administrative duties such as coordinating team and recruiting travel, managing one fundraising and two collegiate golf tournaments, and handling official visits.
Kim graduated from The Academy for Business Careers (now known as Stone Academy) in 1987. She began her time with UConn in the Purchasing Department for 11 years, and then started working for Athletics in 1998. Kim is currently in her 36th year with the university. She also works part-time at Pomfret School, handling catered events.
Kim has always been connected to UConn, ever since her mother worked as a chef in the Towers dorms. Kim currently resides in Moosup with her twin boys, Jason and Joshua (30).
