Manny Hatzikostas is in his fourth year with UConn Athletics and enters his second year with the Softball and Men's Soccer programs as the Director of Operations and Assistant Director of Athletic Communications.Â
Hatzikostas previously spent 2 years with the Men's Soccer program from 2020-2022 as the Director of Soccer Operations. His responsibilities included coordinating team travel and logistics, execute internal ticket promotion, community outreach, oversee student manager hiring, and coordinating fundraising events. Hatzikostas was instrumental in ticket sales, match promotion, and fan engagement. Under his direction, in 2021 UConn was #1 in NCAA Division I Soccer Regular Season fan attendance averaging 2,800 fans per game.Â
Hatzikostas graduated from UConn in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree and earned his Master's degree in Sport Management in 2022.
He currently resides in Vernon, Connecticut with his wife Laura. He is a native of Rocky Hill, Connecticut.
