Matt Hausmann enters his first season as an assistant athletic trainer with the UConn football program.Â
Hausmann returns to UConn after completing a seasonal internship with the New England Patriots from 2021-23.
Prior to the Patriots, Hausmann completed his master of sciences in human physiology from Boston University in 2021. As a graduate assistant, Matt primarily worked with ice hockey, men’s lacrosse and club sports.
A native of Waterford, Conn., Hausmann graduated with his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from UConn in 2019.
