Maureen O’Connor currently serves as the Associate Athletic Director. She is responsible for overseeing the Business Office in processing invoices, purchase orders, payroll, travel reimbursements, and coordinating the annual Division of Athletics budget.

Maureen began working in the business office in September 2002, but first began working for UConn in the Athletic Director’s Office in July 2001. She graduated from Providence College in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in accounting, and then graduated from the University of Hartford in 1987 with a master’s degree in finance. Maureen then spent 18 years as an internal auditor with Bank of America in the investments industry.

Maureen has volunteered as the marshal chairman at two PGA tour events. She has spent 26 years with the Traveler’s Championship and 16 years with the Dell Technologies Championship. She is an avid dog lover and enjoys going home to Jim and their two black labs Gracie and Sophie.
