UConn Moves Up To Eighth In STX/NFHCA Poll

Down in Norfolk, Virginia, the Huskies would contend with two of the nation's top teams. In the first game of the back-to-back weekend, second-ranked Old Dominion won 5-2, while UConn topped then 13th-ranked William & Mary, 3- 2. Last week, Connecticut was ranked ninth.
Of the current top 20 teams in the nation, the Huskies have five of those teams left to play, before heading into the postseason. No. 13 Boston College, No. 20 Northeastern, No. 15 Boston University, No. 18 Syracuse and No. 7 Princeton remain on the schedule.
Connecticut will next take on 13th-ranked Boston College on Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
